More about the band... Come sail away to a magical paradise where the funky-pop flows… GROOVESHIP is a yacht-rock party band with a groovy soul, fronted by singing sisters Kristen Goodman (Captain K. GoodLove) and Sarah Goodman (Coral Reefer) whose powerful harmonies pack a tropical punch, and whose soaring lead vocals sweep you away on an island breeze. The rhythm is gonna getcha when you board this adventure cruise featuring tasty tunes from yacht-rock classics like The Doobie Brothers, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, and Hall & Oates mixed with groovy hits from faves like Michael Jackson, Sade, Chaka Khan, and Earth, Wind & Fire, with a sea salt splash of current covers from Janelle Monae, Justin Timberlake, Thundercat, and Mayor Hawthorne. Based in the land-locked Midwest, GROOVESHIP travels on riverboats, cruise ships, and chartered yachts to distant seas, bringing back sunshine and sweet sounds to their party people in St. Louis, Chicago, and beyond.
